Chardonnay 2024

The Zachár Chardonnay is made from grapes of exquisite quality, which grow on the picturesque and always sunny Csillaghegy, the highest spot of the village of Hidegség, on the shore of the Fertő Lake. The fresh wine was poured into 225 litre barrels and matured on the lees, stirring it from time to time (bâtonnage). The oak barrels are following delicately the tropical fruity notes of the chardonnay. The wine was bottled after a 4-month maturation.
